In 2016, Sharon completed a 100-hour Mat Pilates training. In 2018, she decided to pursue additional Pilates training. Sharon earned Pilates certifications through Balanced Body in Mat 1 & Mat 2, Reformer 1 & Reformer 2, and Apparatus 1. Currently, she is pursuing more intermediate and advanced training through Balanced Body to earn her comprehensive Pilates instructor certification.
An injury to her lower back led Sharon to appreciate the spiritual and physical benefits of yoga. To deepen her study of yoga, Sharon traveled to India and earned her 200-hour yoga teacher certification. One year later, she returned to India for her 300-hour yoga teacher certification.
Sharon has taught over 1,000 hours of yoga. She is currently registered with Yoga Alliance as an experienced yoga teacher. Always a student, she enjoys deepening her studies by continuing her education to enhance her knowledge of yoga and Pilates.
In addition to Pilates Reformer, Sharon teaches Power, Vinyasa, and Gentle Flow yoga at the Center.
