Shortly after Jackie began her Pilates training in August 2014, she suffered a debilitating knee injury. She underwent surgery in February 2015, which motivated Jackie to dedicate herself to Pilates training and practice. Through this experience, Jackie learned how Pilates could help her live and move post-knee injury.
With that determination, Jackie became a PMA® Certified Pilates Teacher and a qualified Balanced Body® Comprehensive Pilates instructor. She continues to expand her training through earning her certification as a Buff Bones® instructor. Jackie also is certified in several Les Mills™ programs, including BodyJam, BodyVive, and CXWorx; as well as certifications in Aqua Zumba®, Zumba®, and VBarre.
Jackie still enjoys teaching dance fitness classes where members of all skill levels are inspired to move. As the Pilates coordinator, Jackie wants members to discover the benefits of the Pilates Reformer to help them move better and discover their true strengths and abilities.
