David Stout

David earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in health promotion and fitness management from Rowan University, and his Master of Science degree in applied health physiology from Salisbury University. David worked extensively in cardiac rehabilitation, physical therapy, and fitness settings, doing everything from implementing/designing programs to monitoring electrocardiograms. He shares a wealth of experience with the Center’s diverse membership.

He specializes in helping clients with cardiac, pulmonary, or orthopedic issues. His training programs closely match the individual’s abilities to assure a safe, productive workout experience. David also enjoys providing sport specific training to help athletes improve their performance, as well as general strength and conditioning, powerlifting, and martial arts training.

In his free time, David does his own endurance training, primarily through cycling. He also enjoys weight training, basketball, and football. He likes to watch and play a variety of sports, and unwinds with a good comedy movie. David’s favorite eats: fruit, pasta, and steak.

David strives to determine each client’s favorite activities to create fitness programs that specifically focus on helping performance in that area. His goals on the Fitness Floor include helping people improve their exercise level, and aiding those struggling to get through life’s daily functions.
