Cara Jorgensen has worked in various capacities at the Center prior to becoming Front Desk manager. She was a customer service representative, and continues to instruct Group Fitness classes. In all positions, Cara most enjoys making members feel welcome with her enthusiasm and sincerity.
She earned her Associate degree from Mercer County Community College, where she studied dance. She transferred to The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in dance, with a concentration in movement therapy (psychology). Currently, Cara is studying for her teaching certification through the Mercer County Continuing Education program.
A lifelong dancer, Cara is passionate about teaching the art of dance. Although she has been dancing since age three, being on the high school cheerleading squad further developed her interest in fitness. Cara specializes in jazz, ballet, and hip hop. She especially enjoys teaching children and those with special needs. She likes to spend free time working out, especially by taking Group Fitness classes. She also enjoys being with friends and family, shopping, listening to music, and spending time at the beach. Cara loves attending Broadway shows in New York City and concerts. Her favorite food is pizza.
With a friendly greeting, and possibly a Group Fitness class, Cara shares her love of fitness with our community.
